High School Junior or Senior

If you are a junior or senior who is interested in education and/or fields in natural resources or other areas of science, you are eligible for consideration. Please indicate your year and why you would like to be a field instructor.

Outdoor School is a program for 5th and 6th grade students and the primary goal is to provide them with a safe, respectful and responsible learning environment. Describe any experience you have working with children/young adults and why you are interested in this position.

Field Instructors spend a lot of time collaborating and working alongside one another. Briefly discuss your feelings about working with others. and how you manage some of the challenges.

Being a Field Instructor is rigorous yet rewarding. How do you keep yourself positively engaged and motivated during stressful situations?

Field Instructors will be leading lessons for groups of students. Please share any skills, knowledge and/or experience you have regarding group management, teaching and/or leadership.
